Go figure? Hezbollah 530 dead vs 118 IDF --who won?

The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) wore uniforms and didn't hide and cower behind women, children and old people. Israel pushed Hezbollah back to the Litani River, and Beirut is in ruins.

During the 34 days of fighting, Hezbollah lost 530 (dead) Islamic Fascist terrorists all fighting to subjugate the world or these crazy Islamic clerics; and Israel lost 118 soldiers (dead), all fighting for the safety of the only democratic country in the Mideast; and for peace and freedom in the world --and for the only True God (Yahweh/I am/ Yeshua/Jesus).  And, let's not forget that Hezbollah began this war with an unprovoked attack on Israel.

The Arab world professes to be amazed that Hizbullah soldiers did not drop their guns and run away but actually managed to kill some Israelis before suffering far more casualties and having their operational area overrun.

Claiming that Hezbollah won anything, just shows you just how sick these Islamic Fascists really are.  All they really won was the luck of not being annihilated -- yet.

Israel's army estimated on Monday (8/14/06) that it killed 530 Hezbollah guerrillas during one month of fighting in Lebanon and said it had released names of 180 whose deaths had been verified.

The lying: Hezbollah has acknowledged only a few dozen dead during the conflict.  The military wing of Hizbollah is not large, with only a few thousand trained fighters, so 530 dead Hezbollah could be a quarter of their entire force.  Also, there were probably a few hundred members of Iran's Revolutionary Guard fighting with Hezbollah.  Many of these Iranians were killed by the Israelis also.

Since Hizbollah fighters don't wear uniforms, many of the Hezbollah dead can be reported as civilians. This makes sense in terms of propaganda, as Hezbollah wants to portray Israeli attacks as unwarranted attacks on innocent civilians.

Speaking at the State Department August 14, American President George W. Bush stated that Hezbollah has "a fantastic propaganda machine" but it nevertheless lost the war.

Blaming the terrorist organization for starting the war, he said that Israel's retaliation showed the world "what it means to confront terrorists" and that "you got to have hope that ultimately freedom will prevail. The Israelis grieve over the deaths of innocents, while Hezbollah supporters celebrate."

REGARDING SUPPOSED ISRAELI WAR CRIMES.

The press and Arab lying machine went non-stop lying about so-called Muslim Hizbullah "invincibility".  The fact is that these Muslim cowards showed not the slightest concern for civilian casualties vis-à-vis what the Israelis did.  Israeli's dropped hundreds of thousands of leaflets letting Lebanese civilians know well in advance their neighborhoods were to be destroyed. They warned them to leave. Whereas Islamic Hizbullah cowards hid in caves, and popped out and fired rockets without any warning, hoping to kill civilians.  All during this conflict, the Hizbullah leader (Nisrallah) was very far away in Syria--scared for his life.  When ever did a leader stay so far away from his troops?  According to Muslim historians, even Islam's first terrorist (Muhammad) at least threw pebbles at his enemies/innocent victims, during Muhammad's slaughter of the 70 peaceful merchants from the Quraysh Tribe of Mecca, at the well of Badr, during Ramadan in 623 A.D.

TRUTH:
On August 16, Hassan Fattah reported in The New York Times on the return of Lebanese civilians to the village of Srifa (spelled Sreifa by the Times). The following sentences are particularly striking: "Hussein Kamaleldin, a local official ... estimated that up to two-thirds of the town's homes and buildings were demolished, leaving more than 43 people buried in the rubble. A majority of them were fighters belonging to Hizbullah and the allied Amal Party, residents said."

Traditionally, no Arab would admit that any war had ever ended with an Arab defeat. The few Arabs who would disagree would be quickly ostracized if not actually treated as "agents of the enemy."

This is what happened to Tunisia's President Habib Bourguiba in 1967, when he politely suggested that the Arabs might have lost the Six Day War. The late Egyptian dictator Gamal Abdul Nasser never used the word hazima (defeat) to describe the result of his 1967 adventure. Syrian despot Hafez Assad also banned the word from his political lexicon. As for Saddam Hussein, the fallen Iraqi tyrant, found cowering with fear while hiding in a hole in the ground;  he was sure that he had won the war against Iran in 1988 and the war against the US-led coalition in 1991. Since he is now in jail, it is hard to know what he thinks of the 2003 war that ended his regime. However, it would be no surprise if he claimed that he had won that round, too.

Arab dictators could make their victory claims, without being challenged, largely because they either owned the media or could buy Arab journalists with perks and positions. The few journalists, who dared question the claims, could be murdered, as was the case with Salim al-Lawzi who insisted that the Arabs had lost all of their wars against Israel. Poets, like Nizar Qabbani who wrote a mordant ode on Nasser's victory claims in 1967, would have to run into exile.

AND WHAT DO WE MAKE OF Hezbollah leader Nasrallah still cowering in his bunker on August 31, 2006? Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah refused to emerge from his bunker on Thursday to celebrate his 46th birthday.  Remember, the cease-fire went into effect on August 14th.

A Hizbullah source told the Egyptian Al-Ahara'am newspaper that Nasrallah turned down a request from youngsters in his movement and in other organizations to celebrate his birthday in a modest manner in the Da'ahiyeh neighborhood of south Beirut. Nasrallah said that he preferred to celebrate with his "warriors" when security conditions made it possible to do so.

On Tuesday, 29 August 2006, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert mocked Nasrallah saying, "I walk around freely, and he's still hiding in a bunker."
