Could our new Pope (Benedict XVI) who was John Paul's closest ally be the Pope who unifies the christian faith and readies Israel for the return of the king?

St. Malachy's prophesy calls for 112 Popes after Innocent II. Well, it describes 112. Actually, our current pope "Glory of the Olives" is number 111 and if you read it, its the last entry where your lead to believe its "consecutive". Entry #112 actually starts out with "the last" or "final" Pope (Peter the Roman). One could deduce that there are Popes in between since it doesn't necessarily say that Peter the Roman is both the "next" AND "last" Pope.

However, as Bibleprobe points out, the first writing may have only described 111. So, our new Pope could be the last altogether.
