A new book on a scientific analysis of the Shroud of Turin confirms what WND reported more than a year ago – the relic is not a medieval forgery. The latest tests date the shroud to between 300 BC and 400 AD.

The results of the tests are documented in the book “Il Mistero della Sindone” or The Mystery of the Shroud, written by Giulio Fanti, a professor of mechanical and thermal measurement at Italy’s Padua University, and Saverio Gaeta, a journalist.

Scientists measured radiation intensity using infra-red light and spectroscopy to analyze the shroud, which is kept in a climate-controlled case in Turin, Italy.

Fanti said the imprint was caused by a blast of “exceptional radiation.”

Neither is the Father of Jesus who is one and the same with the Father. And neither is the true GOD of both the Old or New Testaments.

Neither Muslims or Masons BELIEVE that Jesus took our sins upon Himself. Masons are so 'warped', that they say you can believe in ANY God - even a cow or a monkey - or even Satan. OBAMA DID NOT take the 'legal' oath of office with his hand on the Bible!

On January 20, 2009, Barack Obama took the oath for president. With his left hand on the time-worn velvet cover of the 1853 King James Bible of Abraham Lincoln, Obama read, "I do solemnly swear that I will execute the office of president of the United States faithfully, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

However he missed the exact order the word 'faithfully' MUST be said. The Constitution requires the exact words: “…that I will faithfully execute the office of president of the United States.” “Just to be safe” on January 21, Chief Justice Roberts re-administered the oath of office repeating the exact words in the same order as they appear in the Constitution. This time the Bible was not used.

If non-Catholics took some time to understand the Catholic Mass and the supernatural miracle contained in the Eucharist they would understand that Jesus followed through on his promise to be with us always, until the end of time. The earliest Christians taught directly by the apostles - and those who followed them all the way up to the Protestant Reformation in the 1500's understood and esteemed the Mass - and especially the partaking of the Holy Eucharist & Wine - which Jesus Himself said for us to "DO IT in remembrance of Him." Scripture shows us that the Apostle Paul totally grasped this act of obedience & love for Christ.

16 The cup of blessing which we bless , is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break , is it not the communion of the body of Christ?

The earliest Christian Mass was then as it is today, a liturgical reenactment performed by a priest or bishop. The Center of the Mass is the obedience to Jesus and His promise that the bread of communion (Eucharist) really is His body, and the consecrated wine - really is His blood.

It all comes down to Jesus fulfilling the New Covenant which the Jewish prophets predicted. The old covenant with the Jews had to do with things such as the yearly Passover. For this feast, the body and the blood - of an innocent, unblemished lamb was needed. Most Christians don't know that in this Jewish Temple, the sacrificial lamb was first 'crucified' (hung on wood stakes) in the Jerusalem Temple before having its neck cut and then having its blood poured out only on the Jerusalem Temple alter. Wasn't Jesus first crucified and then pierced?

The new covenant which Jesus initiated during the Passover meal at the Last Supper, which is reenacted at each and every Mass has the Savior fulfilling Jewish Scripture to the iota. He is the 'prophet' that Moses said would follow. He (Jesus/Yeshua) led His people out of the slavery of the old covenant (Old Testament Law) to the new covenant. There were 3 parts to the Jewish Passover sacrificial lamb liturgy/sacrifice that had to be followed precisely. One of those parts that Protestants forget when they argue against transubstantiation is the fact that after the lamb was slaughtered, it had to be roasted and it 'had to be eaten'. Regardless, if you were a Jew, who didn't like the taste of lamb - at Passover - you had to eat its body.

The number 10611 would seem to be more plausible than 10641, which appears to be out of sequence with the numbers of the published birth certificates of twins born a day after Obama.

The Catholic Church allows for the veneration (respect) of images as long as the honor is directed towards Christ, Mary and His saints. Catholics do practice "intercessory" prayer. They do frequently pray to Mary & their saints. The Hail Mary prayer contains this: "Holy Mary mother of God, pray for us sinners..." Least you think this intercessory prayer strange, you would do well to remember that the Apostle Paul asked the churches to pray for him. So, Catholics venerate Mary & the saints, but adore only Jesus. The "Our Father" is the "biggie" in Catholic tradition, just as it is for Protestants.

It seems the Seventh-Day Adventists are bearing false witness against their brothers & sisters in Christ, by circulating a booklet alleging the Catholic Church condones statue worship.

This upside down cross has been used by the Catholic Church for centuries. The origin of this symbol comes from the fact that the Catholic Church claims St. Peter was crucified upside down, as he felt he was unworthy to be crucified in the same manner that Christ died (upright). The claim of Peter having been crucified upside down, traces all the way back to early church father Origen (185 - 254 A.D.). Christian tradition says that Peter thought he was unworthy to die as Jesus did. So he chose to be crucified upside down.

Catholics use this cross as a symbol of humility and unworthiness in comparison to Christ. The Pope claims to be the successor to Saint Peter, the head apostle. So this inverted cross is actually just a symbol of this office.

If the object is linked to Freemasonry, Eastern Star, Job's Daughters, Rainbow Girls of DeMolay, or the Shriners, Odd Fellows, Elks, Amaranth, and Daughters of the Nile - get it out of your house, and pray for the release of these members and their descendants. Members of Freemasonry, Eastern Star and the Shriners are often required to take oaths that actually curse themselves and their families. These members also go through rituals which include pledging allegiance to various deities, which God abhors. Demons can easily attach themselves to items, such as books, rings, aprons, regalia and memorabilia, that represent these societies.

You might be saying to yourself, I saw the "Elks" in your list above. Belonging to these organizations can be compared to the captivity of the Jews in Babylon. They all take secret oaths. And, any organization which speaks of any sort of divine benefit, including eternal life, due to our own good deeds is in error. It takes nothing more than reading Ephesians 2:8-9 to see that membership in any organization denying or devaluing the meritorious work of Christ involves confessing a different faith. Not a lodge exists that completely rejects good works as essential for salvation.

Christianity predates Islam by almost 500 years. Muhammad died in 632 AD.

Genuineness of the Gospels
"They" could not have changed the Christian Gospels after Muhammad, since there are 5,735 (Welte, 2003) manuscripts of the whole or part of the Greek text of the New Testament (Injil) pre-dating Muhammad still in existence. Worldwide, there are 24,800 copies of these original manuscripts. These include the Codex Vaticanus (325-350 AD) located in the Vatican library and the Codex Siniaticus (350 AD) located in the British Museum. There are also 80,000 quotations in the works of early Christian writers which are so extensive that the New Testament could virtually be reconstructed from them without the actual New Testament documents.

Then there is the obvious fact that the Christian Gospels were so widely distributed both before and after Muhammad, that any attempt to change (add/subtract) something in the Christian Gospels would have resulted in immediate discovery and condemnation. Additionally, the New Testament was handed down from apostolic times and its genuineness was guarded by Christian churches, and it was zealously watched by enemies of Christianity. A very wide protest would have resulted from both sides were it tampered with.

Likewise, the Septuagint edition of the Old Testament was always in the hands of both Christians and Jews, both rivals in religion. Any attempts to change this by either side would have been vigorously attacked.

There are four more "safeguards" for the integrity of the Bible. (1) Jesus Himself read from Isaiah scroll in a Synagogue in Nazareth and declared it as Scripture (inspired from God), Luke 4:16-21; (2) The Dead Sea scrolls, found in 1947, verified the Jewish Torah back to 100 AD to 200 BC, when they were copied. Prior to this discovery, the oldest Torah dated to the 9th century AD. The Dead Sea scroll of Isaiah verified almost exactly the Isaiah scroll copied in the 9th century; (3) Early Church Fathers like Ignatius, Clement of Rome, Clement of Alexandria, Tertullian, Irenaeus, who wrote from between 90-160 AD all cited in their writings Christian Gospel accounts (Guthrie, 1990, page 24); (4) We know that the writings of Moses were preserved as far back as 621 BC. 2 Kings 22 speaks of this at the time of the Israeli King Josiah. Ezra 7:14, Nehemiah 8:1-18, and Jeremiah 36 also speaks of the Jews maintaining Scripture.

Some versions of the Bible from 1881 differ in a few words here and there. However, the essential theological points remain the same and are complete. Bibles we recommend, that have not changed are:

First spotted in 2001, it has since morphed "from laboratory curiosity into the dominant form of staph infection in much of the United States." The federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention calculated last fall that drug-resistant staph was killing 19,000 Americans a year - more than are dying of AIDS. Reuters reported in 2008 that, "A drug-resistant strain of potentially deadly bacteria has moved beyond the borders of U.S. hospitals and is being transmitted among gay men during sex, researchers said

The infection causes boils and other infections but the report said what is unusual is that up to 40 percent of the infections occur in the buttocks and genitalia.

"Data" suggest that multidrug-resistant USA300 has spread rapidly among men who have sex with men in San Francisco and Boston, and that having male-male sex seems to be a risk factor, the report said.

According to the study, at this point, homosexual men are 13 times more likely to contract the potentially deadly, drug-resistant strain of staph infection, but the fear is that, because the infection is spread via skin-to-skin contact, homosexual men may soon spread it to the general population.
